This sweet tie dyed muscle tee is for the epic jam band Phish and commemorates their 1997 summer tour. Phish consists of muscians Trey Antastasio, Mike Gordon, Jon Fishman, and Page McConnell. They are known for their musical improvisation and dedicated fan base. Phish was founded in 1983 and eventually became part of a wave of improvisational rock bands in the 90s inspired by the Grateful Dead.
The summer of 1997 saw the band broadcasting one of their concerts live over the internet for the first time. It was also the summer of their second festival titled The Great Went, which took place over two days at the Loring Air Force Base in Limestone, Maine. The band's performance of "Bathtub Gin" played during the second night of the festival is considered to be one of the greatest live performances of their career.
