This vintage band tee pays homage to the controversy laden heavy metal band Rammstein. It's a 1998 original and has aged very gracefully after all this time. In true nineties style this shirt is loaded with awesome graphics, amazing one hundred percent cotton, and double sided print.
Rammstein came to fruition in 1994 in Berlin, Germany. The band's members musical style, hard intensity, and wild stage antics were largely shaped by their experiences growing up in East Germany before the fall of the Berlin Wall. On multiple occasions, they've raised eyebrows with their dark music videos and wild stage performances.
It's widely known that the band loves pyrotechnics and often incorporated them into shows. Some may even recall the time where lead singer Till Linderman lit himself, among other things, on fire. Another unforgettable performance included a staged S&M scene complete with bondage gear and wardrobes.
Controversy aside, Rammstein's notability is also largely in thanks to its talented musicians. 1998 coincided with a number of memorable projects for the band. One of which included the Family Values Tour alongside other notable acts like Incubus, Korn, Ice Cub, and Limp Bizkit. This year also saw the release of singles like "Du riechst so gut '98" and "Stripped".
A unique feat of Rammstein, that not many other bands can say for themselves, is that their core members have remained unchanged since the beginning; Till Lindemann, Paul Landers, Christoph Schneider, Christian "Fake" Lorenz, Richard Kruspe, and Oliver Riedel. Their contributions to metal are everlasting and often immortalized in amazing collectibles and memorabilia such as this vintage t-shirt.
