This sweet sweatshirt was made by the popular footwear and sportswear brand Reebok, and it features the slogan, "pump it up" likely in honor of the Reebok Pump. The Reebok Pump was a line of high-top sneakers that were unique for the internal inflation mechanism that was used to create a custom fit for each wearer. Reebok customers could inflate or "pump up" their shoes to their liking to achieve the optimum amount of support for their feet. During the early 90s, Pumps were sported by athletes like Shaquille O'Neal, Dan O'Brien, and Dave Johnson. They were also famously featured in the movie Juice, which starred Tupac Shakur.
