This amazing vintage concert tee is from Summerfest 1993 with an incredible line up including LL Cool J, SWV, Shai, H-Town, Naughty by Nature, Silk, and Jade. Summerfest 1993 took place in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and was sponsored by Coca-Cola. The festival lasted several days and hosted a number of impressive musical acts. However, when it came time for LL Cool J and Naughty by Nature to take the stage they were supposedly no-shows. This didn't stop the rest of the line up from rocking the house that night.

Some highlights of the performance included SWV, which stands for Sisters With Voices, performing with a live band for the first time as opposed to their usual prerecorded rhythm tracks. Their set was followed by Silk who started the night in purple tear-away suits which were quickly discarded as they hyped up the crowd with their hit "Freak Me". Afterwards Shai stepped in and performed a special a cappella version of "Baby I'm Yours".

Although LL Cool J and Naughty by Nature may not have been able to reach Milwaukee they did perform along with the rest of the groups at other venues such as the Rosemont Horizon in Illinois. At the time, Naughty by Nature was riding high on the success of their hit "O.P.P." They scored a second hit with the song "Uptown Anthem" which was used on the soundtrack to the movie Juice. On set for Juice, band member, Treach befriended Tupac Shakir, who inspired to begin pursuing an acting career. Meanwhile LL Cool J had recently released Momma Said Knock You Out, whose title track earned the artist the award for Best Rap Solo Performance at the 1992 Grammy's. The album solidified Cool J's status as a hip-hop icon and preceded the release of 14 Shots to the Dome which went gold.
