This awesome double-sided t-shirt is for anyone who remembers what comes after the lyrics, "We're tiny, we're toony". The shirt features graphics promoting Tiny Toon Adventures, the first of several cartoon collaborations between Steven Spielberg's Amblin Entertainment and Warner Bros. Animation. The show followed a cast of colorful young characters who were all students of Acme Looniversity that were learning to become the next generation of Looney Tunes, and this tee in particular includes graphics of Buster and Babs Bunny and Dizzy Devil.
The concept for Tiny Toons came about during an era where revamped versions of cartoon classics, that featured younger versions of popular characters, was a common commodity. Examples from the time included a Pup Named Scooby Doo, Muppet Babies, and The Flintstones Kids. Terry Semel, the then president of Warner Bros. thought that Tiny Toons would breath new life into the company's animation department. They approached Spielberg with the proposal to collaborate in 1987, although the initial plans were to produce a feature length film. Full production began in 1989, and the show aired in 1990, starting with a prime-time special on CBS called "The Looney Beginning".
Fits like a modern unisex adult XXXL or 3XL. There are small spots on the front and a repair on the back, see pics.
