This vintage tee is dedicated to the UConn Huskies men and women's basketball teams during the 1995 NCAA Final Four. It's held up great over the years and perfectly captures that nineties style with amazing graphics, double sided print, and one hundred percent cotton.
1995 was a spectacular basketball season for the University of Connecticut. Both their men's and women's teams made it to the Final Four. The men's team didn't quite take home championship title but they played long and hard, earning the #2 seed in West Regional just behind UCLA Bruins.
The women's team made it all the way to the NCAA championship game against the Tennessee Volunteers, and won 70-64. This marked their first NCAA title on top of an undefeated 35-0 season.
The lady Huskies were lead by Hall of Fame head coach Geno Auriemma and star player Rebecca Lobo. Much of the team would go on to have successful athletic careers including Jennifer Rizzotti, Jamelle Elliot, Nykesha Sales, and Kara Wolters.
Fits like a modern unisex adult large. Double sided print.
