This double-sided concert shirt is for the country music group the Dixie Chicks, now simpley known as The Chicks. The shirt is for their Fly Tour that took place during the summer of 2000 and came just after the release of their fifth studio album of the same name. Fly was a huge success for the group and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album included a number of singles such as "Ready to Run", "Cowboy Take Me Away", "Without You", "Cold Day in July", and "Goodbye Earl". The album also went on to earn 4 Grammy nominations and the awards for Best Country Performance by a Duo or Group and Best Country Album.

The Chicks, consisting of Emily Erwin, Martie Erwin, and Natalie Maines continued their success into the early 2000s until they chose to speak out about their opposition to the Iraq War. During a concert at Shepards Bush Empire in London, Maines chose to make a statement criticizing President George W. Bush's decision to partake in the war. This caused the group to face a severe amount of backlash. Record sales dropped and the group faced corporate blacklisting, but they remained steadfast in their beliefs.
