This sweet metal tee was made for the band Testament, and it commemorates their 1989 tour promoting the album Practice What You Preach. The tour was named for the single "Greenhouse Effect", and the back of this tee reads "Environmental Holocaust" in reference to the track's environmentalist lyrics. Testament was formed in Berkeley, California in 1983, and since then they have grown into what many people consider to be one of the most influential bands of the thrash metal genre.

Practice What You Preach was the group's third studio album, and it was their first record to breach the Top 100 of the Billboard chart. This release maintained the band's thrash metal sound while also incorporating influences from traditional heavy metal and progressive metal. The lyrics also strayed away from the occult themes that had been present on their previous records, and instead focused more on politics and social issues. During this time, Testament's popularity grew immensely as they toured alongside bands like Overkill, Annihilator, Mortal Sin, Savatage, Flotsam and Jetsam, and Mordred.
