This cool tee celebrates the 1st Annual Northern Marianas International Motorcycle Race. The race occurred on February 24th and 25th in 1979. The Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands is a commonwealth of the United States. Motocross became one of the main attractions of the island after its introduction in 1977. The Marianas Racing Association became the revamped version of the Saipan Motocross Club. The SMC held three International Motocross events from 1979 till 1981. These races included competitors from Guam, Japan, the Philippines, Hawaii, Taiwan, and the United States. The MRA was the host of the international races annually until 2009.
