This sweet double sided tee celebrates the awesome R&B and funk band, Tower of Power, and it was specifically made in honor of their 1976 album, Ain't Nothin' Stoppin' Us Now. This was the band's first release with Columbia Records, and the label is mentioned on the back of this tee.

Tower of Power has enjoyed a long and colorful career, which goes all the way back to Oakland, California in 1968. During their early days, the group played various local gigs under the name the Motowns. The band's lineup has varied greatly over the years, and there have been several lead vocalists which have come and gone. When Ain't Nothin' Stoppin' Us Now was released, the group was lead by Lenny Williams, who arguably remains TOP's best known vocalist. During his time with the group, TOP released several charting albums. This included their most successful record, an eponymous 1973 album that was certified Gold, and Back to Oakland, which spawned the Billboard Hot 100 singles, "Time Will Tell", and "Don't Change Horses (in the Middle of a Stream)".
