This incredible long sleeve shirt was made for Twisted Sister and their Stay Hungry Tour which ran from 1984 into 1985. This promotional tour was launched in support of the band's third studio album of the same name, and this album is fondly remembered for featuring the band's best known hits, "We're Not Gonna Take It" and "I Wanna Rock".

Twisted Sister was born from a 70s glam metal band called Silver Star, and it wasn't until they were signed by a UK label in the early 80s that they managed to gain much attention. Their first two records, Under the Blade and You Can't Stop Rock 'n' Roll, became underground hits in the UK, but their third album really put them on the map. Stay Hungry marked the peak of the band's mainstream popularity and it remains their only platinum selling album.  

While Twisted Sister's subsequent albums never reached the same level of success as Stay Hungry, the album was enough of a smash hit to solidify the band's status as 80s rock icons. Their songs have also been repeatedly remixed and parodied for modern audiences, with one of the most famous examples being the cover "Goofy Goober Rock" from The Spongebob SquarePants Movie.
