This amazing cut off muscle tee was made to celebrate the hip hop group, Cypress Hill. This shirt features an embroidered logo that was also used for the band's debut self-titled album, which was released in 1991 by Ruffhouse Records. Cypress Hill was first formed in the late 80s by Sen Dog, B-Real and DJ Muggs in South Gate, California.
The group skyrocketed to fame with their singles "The Phunky Feel One" and "How I Could Just Kill a Man". They played the second ever Lollapalooza in 1992 alongsided performers like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Ice Cube, Tool and Pearl Jam. That same year they also provided the theme song for movie Juice starring Tupac Shakur. Cypress Hill is one of the few Latin American Hip Hop groups to hit the mainstream they were largely influential to both fellow rap groups and many nu metal artists.
