This awesome hunting coat was made in the 40s, and it's held up beautifully for more than half a century. This jacket was made by Sportclad, a label produced by J.C. Penney around the mid 20th century. The label rose to prominence in the late 30s, and they became known for their quality leather motorcycle jackets, and heavyweight mackinaw wool jackets like this one. While this jacket is double layered and impressively warm, the special mackinaw wool also makes it comfortable and breathable. The jacket has a handsome buffalo check design, button closures, and several flapped pockets.

Fits like a modern unisex adult extra large. The outer sleeve from the shoulder to the cuff measures 23.5 inches.
