This amazing jersey is in wonderful condition from the 50s! This style of jersey was very popular during the 50s and 60s. Being over half a century old, it is amazing that this shirt has held up so beautifully. 

It's unknown what exactly this shirt is for, more specifically than the Coach for the Encino Colt. There is a Little League baseball team in Encino contemporaryly, that may be the source of this tee. In many Little League's they divide ages in divisions, the oldest of which is often Colt. It is likely that this shirt was for the Coach of the Colt team division, though it is hard to say if these classifications were the same back in the 50s.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt feels like a cotton-nylon blend. There are a couple of spots throughout the fabric.
