This cool women's tee supports a nation-wide beauty pageant from 1978, dubbed The All-American Girl. The competition intended to find the nation's best all-around girl, and contestants were judged on their appearance, personality, fashion taste, disco dancing, and athletic performance. Young women aged 18 to 23 were invited to compete at the local and regional level, and from those contestants, 45 women were selected to appear on The All-American Girl television special presented by ABC. Each participant was given an official certificate and a promotional t-shirt like the one here. This shirt has also been personalized with iron on letters spelling out the names Kari and BJ.
The tag says large but this shirt fits like a modern adult women's small. This shirt is rib knit and stretchy.
