This awesome shirt is for the prog rock supergroup Emerson, Lake & Palmer, which consisted of Keith Emerson, Greg Lake, and Carl Palmer. The trio joined forces in 1970, and together they produced nine certified gold records, starting with their eponymous debut that reached the top five of the UK charts. This shirt was made for their Works Tour from 1977, which actually promoted two albums that were released the same year, Works Volume 1 and Works Volume 2.
While both volumes would eventually receive gold certification, Volume 1 proved to be the more popular of the two. Volume 1 was actually a double album that featured solo work from each of the individual members. While the first three sides were each dedicated to a different member, the final side featured two group performances, one of which was an adaptation of the instrumental piece "Fanfare for the Common Man" by Aaron Copland. The song was also released as a single, which peaked at No. 2 in the UK, making it the band's highest charting UK hit.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some small spots, see pics.
