This cool vintage ringer proudly says, "I Feel Like a Giant", and it features the Jolly Green Giant. This classic character was conceived all the way back in the 1920s, when he first appeared on cans of Green Giant brand peas from the Minnesota Valley Canning Company. In 1935, the Giant was given a makeover by Leo Burnett, that made him much more friendly-looking and also added the "Jolly"moniker to his name. This tee features the Giant as he appeared during the early 70s, which was also the era in which he was given a companion, Sprout. The younger, more sprightly mascot was introduced in 1972 to help Green Giant vegetables appeal to kids.
