This awesome long sleeved shirt has an all over print design of someone riding a dirt bike over a motocross track. This shirt uses a cool printing technique that became notably popular in the 1970s, a technique known as sublimation printing. The process involves special dyes that are able to change into a gas when activated by heat.

The 70s saw the emergence of digital dye sublimation technology, thanks to innovators like Wes Hoekstra, who invented the first sublimation printer. This created a new world of possibility for apparel designs. Sublimation allowed for highly detailed images to be transferred onto clothing, and because the ink was bonded directly to the cloth, it created more lasting graphics than those made with iron on decals.
