This sweet racing tee celebrates a drag racing team known as the Over the Hill Gang. While the front showcases various sponsors like Valvoline, Howard's Cams, NGK Spark Plugs, Eagle Headers, and Arias, the back congratulates the team on their victory at the 2nd annual Mile High Nationals. The Nationals were held in 1979 at Bandimere Speedway near Morrison, Colorado. Bandimere Speedway, also known as Thunder Mountain, was a small local track built in the late 50s, but it gained significant recognition once it was sanctioned by the NHRA and declared the home of Mile High Nationals.

For the 1979 event, the Over the Hill Gang competed with a dragster designed by Bill Schultz and driven by Kelly Brown, who was the defending NHRA Top Fuel World Champion. The Mile High Nationals became one of four NHRA events, where the team took first place in the Top Fuel category, but sadly they failed to qualify for that season's World Finals. Still it was an impressive year for the team, who chose to only compete in that single season.

The tag says small but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult extra small. There is a small hole on the front, see pics.
