This awesome pocket tee promotes the signature brew of the Joseph Schlitz Brewing Company, Schlitz. The company became the largest beer producer in the United States at the start of the 20th century, and as a result Schlitz is fondly known as "the beer that made Milwaukee famous". This shirt dates back to the 70s, before Schlitz was acquired by the Stroh Brewery Company, and it features the lyrics to an unused jingle written by Steely Dan.

The front pocket has the lyrics, "once around life", which were part of the song that also included some Spanish narration translated by Donald Fagen. Supposedly the decision came down to the Spanish word for "grab", which is also sometimes used as slang for sex. The song was shelved for many years, but its influence remains on vintage merchandise like this.

Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is soft and thin with several holes and spots, see pics.
