This cool vintage ringer was made by Tropix Togs in the late 70s. The shirt features a grinning cartoon orange with the caption, "Squeeze Pleeze!" and it's a great example of the sort of advertising graphics that were made to promote Florida's citrus industry around that time. For most of the 70s, Florida's orange juice sales thrived thanks to a series of popular commercials starring Anita Bryant. However, Bryant lost her contract with the Florida Citrus Commission, after she become the public face of the Save Our Children campaign, which vocally opposed the gay rights movement. Not wanting to be associated with Bryant's anti-gay beliefs, Florida Citrus looked to new advertising ventures.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. There's some wear along the bottom, discoloration on the back, and a small hole on the right shoulder when wearing, see pics.
