This amazing vintage tee features an iron on graphic advertising "The Fantastic Elton John Band" and a concert tour that was held by the group. The graphic includes colorful caricatures of the band members such as Davey Johnstone, Dee Murray, Nigel Olsson, Ray Cooper, and of course Elton John, and the copyright on the graphic reads 1974, the same year the group released the album Caribou.

The Elton John Band refers to the backing band of the popular English singer and composer, and while the lineup has changed a number of times over the years, Olsson, Johnstone, and Cooper have all remained fairly consistent members since the early 1970s. This shirt is from around the time of the band's commercial peak.

Caribou in 1974 was a chart topping hit that featured the singles "Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me" and "The Bitch is Back". It was followed by another number one album, Captain Fantastic and the Brown Dirty Cowboy which remained at the top of the charts for seven weeks, and sold an impressive 1.4 million copies in less than a week.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. There's discoloration on the front and the iron on graphic is beginning to peel, see pics.
