This awesome double-sided tee is for the band Anthrax, and it celebrates their fourth studio album State of Euphoria. Released in 1988, the album was recorded during the era that Joey Belladonna served as lead vocalist. The front of this tee includes a caricature of Belladonna alongside the other members of the band, which consisted of Dan Spitz, Scott Ian, Frank Bello, and Charlie Benante.
State of Euphoria was the commercially successful follow up to their breakthrough album, Among the Living. For this record, the band sought Mark Dodson to produce, as they were impressed with the work he'd done for Judas Priest and Metal Church. State of Euphoria featured the single "Antisocial", which became a staple on MTV's Headbangers Ball.
It was around this time that Anthrax's popularity truly began to take off, as the band began playing to arenas in 1989. They were invited to headline the Headbanger's Ball Tour, and MTV also held a contest in which the winner got the honor of having the band trash their home.
The tag say extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is deadstock, unworn.
