This sweet shirt features the iconic logo from the 1984 supernatural comedy, Ghostbusters. The movie was written by Dan Aykroyd and Harold Ramis, and it starred the pair alongside Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Rick Moranis and Sigourney Weaver. Aykroyd's own fascination with the paranormal inspired him to create the initial script, and he originally intended the project to feature his close friend and fellow Saturday Night Live alumni, John Belushi. After Belushi's death in 1982, Ramis was brought in to help rewrite the script, and they began filming principle photography in October of 1983.  

Ghostbusters was a critical and commercial hit, that became the second highest-grossing film of 1984. It was the first comedy to utilize expansive special effects, and the movie also launched a successful multimedia franchise that kicked off with the animated TV series The Real Ghostbusters.
