This super soft vintage band tee reps the Rolling Stones and their iconic tongue and lips logo. The original image was first designed by John Pasche during his final year of studies at the Royal College of Art. He was first asked to design a poster for the Stones' 1970 European tour, before Mick Jagger approached him to also create a logo for the band. One of the things included in the design brief given to Pasche, was the Hindu goddess Kali, and her lolling tongue wound up being Pasche's inspiration.

The tongue and lips logo was first used for the 1971 Stones album, Sticky Fingers, which was the first of what would become eight consecutive US chart topping albums. This shirt was made later in the 80s, when the band released the final two of their consecutive number one hits, Emotional Rescue and Tattoo You.

Fits like a modern unisex adult large. This shirt is soft, paper thin, and distressed with holes and cut sleeves, see pics.
