This amazing tee is from one of Bette Midler's most well loved tours Experience the Divine. The back of the tee says "Bette Midler on tour 1994", indicating that this shirt was actually from her second run of the show which was technically titled Experience the Divine Again!. Well known for her voice and her sense of humor, Bette Midler is one of the most popular Broadway stars of her time and she's been in tons of beloved movies as well. The Divine moniker came from her 1972 album The Divine Miss M, co-produced by Barry Manilow.
This live show was based off her 1993 Experience the Divine: Greatest Hits album which included "Chapel of Love","Wind Beneath My Wings","Do You Want to Dance?" and "The Rose." The last of which was recorded for The Rose film from 1979, starring Midler and loosely based on the life of Janis Joplin. During this time in her life Bette Midler was also filming the television adaptation of Gypsy.
Fits like a modern unisex adult extra large, and is 2 sided. There is discoloration on the left shoulder of the shirt, see pics.
