This awesome double-sided tee is for the delightfully quirky new wave rock band, Oingo Boingo. The group emerged in 1979 out of the surrealist musical troupe the Mystic Knights of the Oingo Boingo, and it was led by the future award-winning composer Danny Elfman. The band's career spanned almost two decades, and during that time they became known for their annual Dia de los Muertos concerts, which they performed each Halloween at the Irvine Meadows and Universal Amphitheatres in California.
This shirt comes from their 1990 show, and earlier that year, the band had released their seventh studio album Dark at the End of the Tunnel. This was their final release with MCA Records, and by that point Elfman had become well known as a film composer. As Elfman's film score work began to conflict more and more with the band, the group eventually disbanded in 1995. However, they're still fondly remembered by fans for songs like "Dead Man's Party", "Weird Science", "Just Another Day", and "No One Lives Forever".
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There are several holes, see pics.
