This awesome vintage hoodie was made by Adidas in the 80s. It features a drawstring hood, kangaroo pocket, and the company's iconic trefoil logo, which was first debuted in 1971. The trefoil was introduced at the same time that the Adidas Company began to branch out from their original venture of simply selling athletic shoes. The trefoil and the company's new sportswear designs both included the three stripes motif that had become the signature of Adidas sneakers.
This sweatshirt hails from a time when Adidas was bridging the gap between street fashion and sportswear. The brand became especially popular within the 80s hip hop scene thanks to musicians like Run-D.M.C., who coined the song, "My Adidas". This led Adidas to strike up an endorsement deal with the group, making them the first sportswear company to create a promotion with celebrities outside of professional athletes.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There is some wear on the left sleeve when wearing, see pics.
