This vintage Boy Scouts tee dates all the way back to 1953, and it commemorates the Boy Scouts of America's National Scout Jamboree. That year, the historic gathering was held at Irvine Ranch in Orange County, California. This was only the third Jamboree to ever be held, as the event had to put on hiatus during World War II.

The theme for 1953 was "Forward on Liberty's Team", and the opening night of the Jamboree was celebrated with a historical pageant titled "The Building of a Nation", and a recorded speech from President Dwight D. Eisenhower. The scouts were later visited by Vice President Richard Nixon, and several other celebrity guests, which included Roy Rogers, Jimmy Stewart, Debbie Reynolds, and Bob Hope.

Fits like a modern unisex adult small. This shirt is soft and thin with some spots, see pics
