This cool kid's ringer tee pays tribute to the classic 70s sitcom, Happy Days, and it features the show's breakout character Arthur "The Fonz" Fonzarelli, and his catchphrase, "sit on it". The role of Fonzie was initially written as a secondary character, but audiences were quickly enamored by the slick-talking greaser, who was portrayed by Henry Winkler.

At the time, Winkler was an unknown actor who had only just moved to LA a short two weeks before his audition. Winkler's charm and unique take on the character wound up being integral to making Fonzie the beloved television icon that he became. Early on Winkler decided he wanted Fonzie to be more than a stereotypical greaser character, a fact he made known while filming the show's pilot. One of the character's earliest moments was intended to show him combing his signature pompadour. Instead Winkler went to fix his hair, only to pause and decide it was already perfect, a small decision that forever set the tone for Fonzie's effortlessly cool demeanor.
