This historic space tee comes from the Jet Propulsion Laboratory at the California Institute of Technology in 1973. The mission, then-named Mariner Jupiter-Saturn 1977, was intended to go as far as Jupiter and Saturn. Engineers of the lab realized that a spacecraft launched in 1977 could travel to all four gas giants due to a once-in-176-years alignment of the planets. NASA approved this proposal, called the Grand Tour, in 1971. John Casani became the project manager of the mission, renaming it to to Voyager. In 1977, NASA launched the Voyager spacecraft, travelling to Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune, surpassing the expectations of technology and opening the door to physical, geological and atmospheric processes.

The tag says medium but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult small. It has a pocket on the front, and the large graphic is on the back.
