This wonderful pullover is a classic Westerley sweater from the brand Pendleton. Made from a cozy wool material, the Westerley was introduced in 1974 as a part of Pendleton's High Grade Westernwear line. This gray sweater features a blue and maroon geometric design inspired by the hand-knit Cowichan sweaters that were crafted by the indigenous Cowichan Tribes of British Columbia.
If this pattern looks familiar, that's because a cardigan version of the Westerley was the same style of sweater worn by the Dude in the Coen Brothers' cult classic film, The Big Lebowski. While much of the Dude's iconic wardrobe was actually provided by Jeff Bridges himself, the Westerley sweater was reportedly one piece he didn't already have in his closet. Pendleton had actually discontinued the Westerley back in the 80s, but the popularity of the movie persuaded the company to bring back the iconic design.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are several holes, see pics.
