This awesome shirt commemorates a Rock Against Racism event that was broadcast as a World of Difference Special in 1985. The special was recorded at The Metro in Boston and aired on the local television station WCVB-TV. It wound up becoming one of the most prominent events organized by the Massachusetts Rock Against Racism group, which emerged in the late 70s to combat racial tensions during the aftermath of desegregation.
The A World of Difference special was a concert featuring The O'Jays, Red Rockers, George Benson and Livingston Taylor. It also included performances from the Rainbow Dance Company of Boston and RAR's own rap and break crew. There were also several celebrities who sent in recorded segments to show their support, this included artists like Santana, Al Jarreau, and Natalie Cole.
Tag says extra large but this shirt fits like a modern unisex adult large. There is a paint spot along the bottom on the back, see pics.
