This sweet double-sided tee promotes the horror comedy Arachnophobia. This 1990 film served as Amblin Entertainment co-founder, Frank Marshall's directorial debut, and he drew inspiration from Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds. Marshall's intention was for the movie to be both frightening and funny, something that could keep audiences laughing through the scares.
The movie employed the use of more than 300 live Avondale spiders from New Zealand, as well as one bird-eating tarantula that Marshall nicknamed "Big Bob" after fellow director Robert Zemeckis. Arachnophobia was a critical and commercial success that won the Saturn Award for Best Horror Film, and this shirt includes the movie's tag line, "Eight legs, two fangs, and an attitude".
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. The spider in the graphic is puffy paint. There's some light screen burn on the back, see pics.
