Often credited as the Godfather of modern street skating, Gonzales started Blind alongside Steve Rocco. The company gained notoriety in the skate scene with the release of their first video in 1991, Video Days, which was directed by Spike Jonze. The video showcased several notable members of the Blind skateboard team, including Danny Way, former Powell Peralta skater Guy Mariano, and future Hollywood actor, Jason Lee.
