This cool reverse weave sweatshirt celebrates the New York Yankees and their 1998 World Series victory. The Yankees wound up winning the series in a four game sweep against the San Diego Padres. This was the Yankees' second World Series appearance in just three years, and it would end up being the first of three consecutive World Series championships for the team.

The 1998 Yankees also set a new MLB record for the most overall wins in a single season with 125 winning games against 50 losses. Meanwhile MVP of the series was awarded to Scott Brosius, who had been traded to the Yankees before the start of the season.
