This awesome vintage tee features one of the earliest published images for the comic book series Wetworks, created by Whilce Portacio and Brandon Choi. The series was originally published by Image Comics through their imprint Wildstorm, and it made its debut in 1994. However Wetworks was meant to be one of Image Comics' core launch titles in 1992. Thanks to this delay, the graphic featured on this tee was first published on the back of another Wildstorm comic, to announce the launch of the series. This graphic, that was drawn by Portacio, appeared on the back of an issue of Stormwatch, with the caption "Three years in the making! 4 pints of ink... 29 pencils... 98 sheets of paper... 237 pen nibs... and 20,000 bullets! A long time coming, but worth the wait!"
Wetworks centered around a covert operations team known as Team 7. The group was bonded to golden symbiotes that helped them fight supernatural forces. This shirt features three of the team's main members: Dane, Grail, and Mother-One.
Fits like a modern unisex adult Extra Large. There's a very light spot on the front, see pics.
