This amazing all over print tee was made in the 90s, and it showcases the popular Marvel superhero team, the X-Men. This shirt is copyright 1993, when Marvel launched a second series featuring the characters that was simply titled X-Men. The team's roster was split into two strike forces: a Blue Team, which was chronicled in this new series, and a Gold Team that was the focus of The Uncanny X-Men comics. This shirt features primarily the members of Blue Team, which was headed by Cyclops, and also consisted of Wolverine, Beast, Jubilee, Rogue, Psylocke, and Gambit.
Jim Lee was the first to serve as the regular artist for the series, but Andy Kubert later stepped in, starting in 1992. Meanwhile, the primary writer at the time was Fabian Nicieza, one of the co-creators of the character Deadpool. The premiere issue of the series remains the best-selling comic book of all time, with more than eight million copies sold via pre-order alone. During its run in the 90s, X-Men covered a variety of notable story lines and arcs. These included the Legacy Virus, the wedding of Jean Grey and Cyclops, and crossover events like "Fatal Attractions" and "Legion Quest".
