The first Planet Hollywood was opened in New York City in 1991 and it was backed by celebrities Sylvester Stallone, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Whoopi Goldberg, and Demi Moore. The Las Vegas location was opened in 1994 and it is the franchise's highest-grossing location, thanks largely to the venue possessing double the normal amount of seats with 500.
