This vintage tee was specially made for the Erie Bay Rats, a neighborhood group/club dating back to the 1980s, maybe even earlier. It's comprised of an amazing community of residents from the Lower West Side and Bay Front neighborhoods of Erie, Pennsylvania. The Bay Rats community continues to be very tight knit and often reminisce on the good old days via their Facebook group.
Over the years, Bay Rats have held countless picnics, keg parties, and often rallied together to support one another in both hard times and good times. Their get-togethers sometimes featured souvenir t-shirts just like this one, which came from an event dubbed Zapped & Wasted No. 6 in 1983. The tee has aged really well after all this time, capturing that old school magic for years to come. Features awesome cartoon graphics and a soft cotton blend.
