This vintage tee is for country music star Chely Wright and the shirt is from the 90s around the same time as the release of his debut album Woman in the Moon. Wright originally began working for PolyGram/Mercury Records in the early 90s as a songwriter. She reached mainstream success in the late 90s after the release of her album Let Me In, which was her first album to make it on both the Billboard Top Country Albums chart and the Billboard 200. Shortly after that she released her number one hit "Single White Female", which became one of Wright's most memorable songs.

Wright later went on to become a prominent LGBT rights activist after she publicly came out in 2007. Around that time she also chose to move from Nashville to New York City in order to be more involved with the LGBT community.
