This cool race t-shirt was made in 1984 to celebrate that year's Manoa Marathon Relay. Manoa is a residential neighborhood in Honolulu where the race used to take place. This shirt includes a rainbow graphic, as the marathon has earned the nickname the Rainbow Chase thanks to Hawaii's typically misty weather. The graphic also shows two running figures handing off a baton, as the event was a relay, meaning the typical marathon distance of 26.2 miles was split into smaller sections to be completed by teams of runners.
