This sweet tee has a 70s iron on decal for the film Saturday Night Fever. This tee features John Travolta as his character Tony Manero. When Saturday Night Fever premiered in 1977, it was a huge commercial success and pop culture sensation. The story was based off an article by Nik Cohn about the young working class social scene in Brooklyn, and the film explored racial tensions, class prejudice, homophobia, sexism and violence, all under the glittery light of a disco ball. The image featured here, of Tony in his white leisure suit, is an image many call to mind when they think of 70s fashion.

The movie's influence was also demonstrated by its soundtrack, which was the best selling album in music history for five years, until Michael Jackson released Thriller in 1982. Three of the biggest tracks were by the Bee Gees, and they included "How Deep Is Your Love","Stayin' Alive" and "Night Fever".
