This awesome ringer is for the 5th annual Old Time Drags & Rod Run event held by the Rollin Rods of South Jersey. This group was started in 1978 by a small group of local street rodders, and it has retained its close knit community over the years. To maintain the club's personal feel, membership is limited to only 25 members, but the group participates in a number of shows and events throughout the year. The Old Time Drags & Rod Run was started just a year after the group was formed and its a noted event among hardcore nostalgia racing enthusiasts. Since its early days, the event has been held at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park near Englishtown, New Jersey. One of South Jersey's most prominent drag racing venues, the park also used to host the NHRA Summernationals.
