This amazing tee celebrates the legendary George Barris, who specialized in creating iconic custom cars for Hollywood. Barris established his first custom shop in Los Angeles in the mid 40s, alongside his brother Sam. Movie studios began noticing Barris' top notch work and he began making cars for film and television in the late fifties. Some of his earliest Hollywood jobs were for movies like North by Northwest, High School Confidential, and The Time Machine.

The back of this tee has a wonderful graphic showcasing some of Barris' most famous creations. Among the iconic vehicles is the Monkeemobile, the Bob Hope Kart, Green Hornet, Pink Panther, Munster Koach, and the original 1966 Batmobile. However that's just a fraction of Barris' impressive resume, as he was also responsible for KITT from Knight Rider, the Striped Tomato from Starsky and Hutch, Zsa Zsa Gabor's gold Rolls-Royce and Elvis' Cadillac limousine.
