This awesome tee promotes a company called Surefire Distributing, which used to operate out of Asheville, North Carolina. Surefire used to provide quality motorcycle parts and accessories for both dirt bikes and on-road vehicles. It was owned by Bill Burbank who also owned several Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda dealerships. This shirt is copyright 1982, two years before Surefire was sadly destroyed in a fire.
Although the business was destroyed, dirt bike riders who grew up in Asheville remember it as an esteemed part of the local community. Motocross was a fast-growing sport in the 70s and early 80s, and Surefire offered Asheville riders a trusted local supplier for their accessories.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. There are some small holes and light discoloration throughout, see pics.
