This awesome ringer tee was made by the popular denim company Levi's, and it was made to rep Team USA in the 1984 Summer Olympic Games in Los Angeles. The LA 84 games are remembered for being possibly the most financially successful modern Olympics. The city was able to keep construction costs low by using many existing infrastructures like the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum, Dodger Stadium, and Pauley Pavilion.

During both the 1980 and 1984 Olympics, Levi Strauss & Co. was invited to be the official outfitter for the USA team. Not only did they produce shirts like the one here, the company also sought to involve Olympic fans by asking them to cast their votes for their favorite Levi's Olympic uniform designs.
