This phenomenal 70s shirt was made to support the UCLA Bruins football team, and it features their mascot Joe Bruin. The University of California Los Angeles is often considered one of the top public universities in the world, and this shirt was made during an era when their football team called the Los Angeles Coliseum their home field. From 1933 to 1981, the Bruins shared the famous Coliseum with their rivals the USC Trojans. This likely added to the tension of interstate rivalry, and in 1982 the Bruins moved to the Rose Bowl in Pasadena.

This shirt was also made during the same decade that Terry Donahue became head coach of the team. Under Donahue's leadership the Bruins won an unprecedented seven consecutive bowl games.

Fits like a modern unisex adult oversized medium. There's a repair on the front and sleeve, and a hole on the back, see pics
