This sweet band tee is to celebrate the Counting Crows. This tee features some lyrics from their song, "Murder of One", and it says "One for sorrow two for joy three for girls and four for boys five for silver six for gold seven for a secret...". The Counting Crows were formed in the beginning of the 90s in the San Francisco Bay Area. The song featured on this shirt is from the band's breakout album August and Everything After. These lyrics are actually borrowed from a British divination nursery rhyme called "One for Sorrow", which the band also got their name from.

August and Everything After was the group's studio album debut, and it featured what would become one of their most popular singles, "Mr. Jones", which peaked at number five on the Billboard charts. At the point in time, the members of Counting Crows consisted of David Bryson, Adam Duritz, Charlie Gillingham, Steve Bowman and Matt Malley.
