This funny double-sided tee demands the return of five cent beer. The larger of the two graphics is featured on the back and it reads, "Bring back the five cent beer". The shirt was made by a manufacturer called Progressive Designs back in the early 70s, and it was most likely made to share a bit of nostalgia over the days when you could go to a ball game or bar and drink your fill for less than a buck.
Ballparks like Ray Winder Field in Little Rock, Arkansas, the home of the minor league baseball team the Arkansas Travelers used to advertise five cent beer nights. Five cent beer signs also used to decorate the interior walls of various pubs and taverns across the US. The Cleveland Indians once famously held a ten cent beer night during a game against the Texas Rangers in 1974. This was after they had held several successful Nickel Beer Days starting in 1971.
Fits like a modern unisex adult medium. This shirt is distressed with holes throughout, see pics.
